FAQs: Corporate & Business
What do you mean by corporate investigations?
Corporate investigations encompass various investigative areas, both civil and criminal, generally dealing in some form of loss or potential loss. Examples of situations where a corporate investigator may be needed might include instances of corporate espionage, embezzlement, inventory loss prevention, insurance liability, workforce safety, and compliance, and more. Whether you need to investigate an accusation of workplace sexual harassment, have become the target of an organized retail theft ring, been accused of civil liability in a crime committed against an individual, or need to ensure a bankrupt customer isn’t stealing inventory prior to receivership, we have the investigative solution for you.
Are your corporate investigations confidential?
Yes, to the extent allowed by law.
How much do you charge for a corporate investigation?
Fees are based on the scope of work required for a specific investigation. Our simple formula for estimating overall cost is our usual hourly rate, multiplied by an estimate of the hours needed to complete the investigation, plus any foreseeable expenses. In some instances, we may be able to offer flat rates for a specific number of hours. Depending on the scope and nature of the investigation, we may require a retainer.
